FrieslandCampina Ingredients showcases market-ready nutrition products for Asia-Pacific at Vitafoods Asia 2025
FrieslandCampina Ingredients, a global leader in proteins and prebiotics, returned to Vitafoods Asia 2025 (17-19 September) to present products tailored for the Asia-Pacific market. The company showcased a lineup of multifunctional application concepts developed with its protein and prebiotic ingredients for Performance and Active Nutrition, alongside its Step Up Nutrition offering designed to address the specific needs of children aged three and up.
Focus on active nutrition and gut health support
At the event, FrieslandCampina Ingredients highlighted the rising demand for active nutrition, beauty-from-within and gut health support. The company showcased its flagship dairy protein portfolio, featuring Excellion® Caseinates and Nutri Whey™ Isolates, targeting the 55% of consumers in APAC who define health by how fit they feel.
The company also featured Biotis® Lactoferrin in the New Ingredient Zone, targeting brands looking to capitalise on the region’s growing interest in skin health – a key driver for supplement growth in Asia Pacific. Inge van Dalfsen, Global Marketing Manager Performance & Active Nutrition at FrieslandCampina Ingredients, presented a talk titled “From Gut to Glow: Lactoferrin, the next beauty-from-within hero”.
Prebiotic portfolio and children’s nutrition expansion
FrieslandCampina Ingredients spotlighted gut health through its prebiotic portfolio, including Biotis GOS, Biotis GOS OP High-Purity and Biotis Fermentis, which enable the creation of next-generation functional foods and supplements supporting holistic health. The company also highlighted new growth opportunities in the APAC children’s nutrition market through its Step Up Nutrition ingredients portfolio, designed for products that support growth and development, immune function, cognitive function, gut health and mental health.
