KoCoS Messtechnik AG has unveiled their new INDEC VD 400 – the successor to their INDEC VD 100 vacuum testing system – for inline DUD Detection of containers during the food production process, including bottles, jars, and cans. With this new development, KoCoS is responding to changing requirements in industrial quality and DUD Detection.

With state-of-the-art laser technology, the main feature of the INDEC VD 400 is an improved measuring method that enables reliable testing of lids – regardless of material, colour, or surface texture, including matte lids. The new profile sensor minimizes the steps involved in recipe setting, enabling format changes with minimal effort and in the shortest possible time.

The system can be individually expanded with suitable accessories, such as a flexible fan nozzle for water removal, and adapted to different production environments.
