Pure Maple launches organic-certified syrup range ahead of IFE 2025

British-Canadian maple syrup producer Pure Maple is introducing a newly certified organic range of products at the International Food & Drink Event (IFE) in March. The launch coincides with growing consumer demand for natural sugar alternatives and follows a comprehensive brand refresh targeting the expanding UK maple syrup market, which is projected to reach USD 124.7 million by 2028.

Product specifications and pricing

The organic certification covers Pure Maple’s complete syrup range, including Golden Delicate, Amber Rich and Dark Robust varieties. The products are packaged in 236ml/312g bottles with retail prices ranging from £6.00 to £7.89, equivalent to £1.92-£2.52 per 100g. The new packaging features a Leone bottle design, chosen to reflect traditional Canadian maple syrup production methods.

Market positioning and growth strategy

Pure Maple’s organic certification comes as UK consumers increasingly seek alternatives to refined sugar. The company has positioned its pricing to balance premium quality with market accessibility, particularly relevant given current inflationary pressures and cost-of-living considerations affecting consumer purchasing decisions.

Robert Ward, founder and partner at Pure Maple, said: “We are excited to bring our newly organic maple syrups to the UK market at such a compelling price. We understand that consumers are looking for value without compromising on quality and we’re proud to offer a product that meets the demand for premium foods at an accessible price point.”

Production standards and market significance

All Pure Maple products are produced and packaged in Canada to maintain authenticity. The UK represents the third-largest export market for Canadian maple syrup, making it a strategic focus for the brand’s expansion plans. The darker maple syrup category is expected to show particular growth, driven by consumer preference for more intense flavour profiles.

Product development pipeline

Following the initial organic syrup launch, Pure Maple plans to extend its rebranding across its complete product portfolio. New products scheduled for release include dairy-free maple butter, maple cream cookies and salted maple popcorn, all expected to launch within the coming months.
