TNA Solutions showcases confectionery line technology at ProSweets 2026
TNA Solutions presented its complete line solutions for confectionery and nutraceutical production at ProSweets 2026 in Cologne, Germany, from 1–4 February. The global processing and packaging technology specialist showcased equipment designed to address the unique challenges of handling sticky products, optimising production flow, and reducing waste.

Integrated solutions for sticky confectionery products
The company’s flagship tna robag® 3e packaging system features customisable tna intelliweigh® scales specifically engineered to handle sticky products including liquorice, gummies, and long-format confectionery such as lollipops and snakes. The system incorporates advanced dust extraction mechanisms and integrated sieves on linear feeders to maintain product flow and cleanliness in sugar-rich production environments.
Specialised sealing technology enables fast, reliable fin-seal packaging for multi-layer films, whilst the modular, flexible design provided manufacturers with adaptability for both established and emerging markets. The equipment delivers consistent results for sticky, dusted, and long-format products at high speeds.

Oil coating technology for enhanced product finish
TNA Solutions also displayed the tna conti-oil system, which enables accurate oil coating for jelly and gum-based confectionery products. The equipment provides an appealing glaze and greater depth of colour, with an output capacity of up to 2,200 kg/hr. The continuous flow oiling occurs in a stainless-steel drum that rotates using a gentle lifting and rolling mechanism.
“As global demand for gummies, jellies, and other confectionery formats continues to grow, manufacturers are seeking reliable solutions that combine flexibility, hygiene, and high product quality,” said James Hosford, Regional Solution Specialist, TNA Solutions. “A key part of achieving this is ensuring smooth, uninterrupted production across the production line. Sticky confectionery, for example, can clump and cause costly delays. By partnering with a complete solutions partner like TNA, manufacturers can streamline the entire process. Our integrated line solutions are designed to minimise disruptions, reduce product buildup, improve transfer speeds, and keep production lines running at full capacity.”
Complete line integration from kitchen to case packing
The company’s confectionery solutions portfolio spans the entire production process, from kitchen operations and starch conditioning to mogul tray handling, de-moulding, finishing, depositing, packaging, and case packing. This end-to-end approach, supported by aftermarket services and enhanced spare parts availability, stems from TNA’s 2017 acquisition of NID, which brought starch moulding and confectionery production expertise into the organisation.
