SternMaid has announced the expansion of its contract manufacturing capabilities with a new state-of-the-art filling line for environmentally friendly cardboard cans. The company will present this innovation, alongside its comprehensive blending and refining services, at booth 3G122 during Vitafoods Europe 2025 from May 20-22 in Barcelona.
Advanced packaging technology
The newly installed filling system enables SternMaid to package powders and granulates in almost fully recyclable cardboard cans with cardboard bottoms. This packaging solution addresses both regulatory requirements and market demands for sustainable packaging options without compromising functionality.
The versatile system accommodates various can formats with filling volumes ranging from 100g to 1000g, making it suitable for diverse product categories including lifestyle products, diet drinks and sports nutrition formulations.
