GNT Group has announced substantial progress in its sustainability initiatives, achieving a 26% reduction in carbon emissions intensity at its production facilities between 2020 and 2024. The milestone, detailed in the company’s latest sustainability report, demonstrates significant advancement toward the manufacturer’s goal of halving carbon intensity at its EXBERRY colour factories by 2030.

SIG’s Terra portfolio of aluminium-free and other sustainable packaging materials has experienced double-digit growth in 2024, significantly outpacing the company’s overall revenue increase. The portfolio now accounts for 9.3% of SIG’s aseptic carton production in Europe and 4.1% globally, demonstrating increasing market adoption of more environmentally responsible food packaging solutions.
