SIRIO Europe to launch Aeion longevity supplement platform at Vitafoods Europe 2026
SIRIO Europe has announced Aeion, a science-led supplement platform comprising eight ready-to-launch longevity concepts designed to support long-term healthy ageing through daily, repeatable nutritional rituals.
The platform will make its public debut at Vitafoods Europe (stand #3G40) in Barcelona, running 5–7 May 2026. Developed in collaboration with the SIRIO Institute of Aging, longevity researchers and ingredient partners, the portfolio spans multiple delivery formats including gummies, softgels, direct-to-mouth (DTM) powders, Fizzybit™ tablets and LifeChews™ jelly tablets. SIRIO says the range is designed to enable brands to rapidly bring premium, consumer-centric longevity supplements to market, addressing health concerns including energy, inflammaging, mobility and heart health.
Snowmelt: a new instant-dissolve DTM format
The first product in the range, Aeion™ NAD+ Energy, introduces Snowmelt™ – SIRIO’s latest delivery innovation. This instant-dissolve powder disintegrates on the tongue without water, positioning daily supplementation as a convenient, low-friction ritual. The formulation combines nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) with L-ergothioneine and vitamin C to support mitochondrial function and oxidative resilience at the cellular level. Vitafoods attendees will be able to experience Snowmelt™ in an immersive demonstration space at the SIRIO booth.
Addressing inflammaging with quercetin
Inflammaging – chronic low-grade inflammation associated with ageing – is an area of growing scientific interest, and SIRIO has formulated Aeion Quercetin to target this mechanism. Quercetin is a plant flavonol with antioxidative properties that occurs naturally in fruit and vegetables. Average dietary intake in Europe sits at approximately 52 mg per day, well below the 250 mg delivered per serving of the new gummy. The formulation also contains 125 mg of vitamin C to enhance quercetin absorption. The product is vegan, sugar-free and pectin-based, with a natural yellow colour and lemon flavour.
Mobility support via N-acetylglucosamine
Aeion Active, a softgel concept, targets joint and bone comfort using N-acetylglucosamine (NAG) – a compound with emerging evidence for musculoskeletal support. Each two-softgel daily dose delivers 500 mg of NAG alongside 1,400 mg of concentrated fish oil (DHA and EPA), plus vitamins and minerals. The formulation addresses a widely documented consumer concern: data from the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) indicates that 30–40% of adults over 65 report difficulty walking 100 metres.
Further concepts within the platform will address heart health, metabolism, skin health and mental energy.
